Rebeca Cabezas is a Lima-based Peruvian lawyer with solid experience in environmental law and Indigenous peoples’ rights, particularly in Amazonian issues. She has worked across public and private institutions, offering legal advice in forest control, Indigenous policy, environmental sustainability, and forest management.
In addition to her legal background, Rebeca completed all coursework for a Master’s in Environmental Sciences at Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, strengthening her science-based understanding and project management skills in social and environmental initiatives. Her commitment to sustainable development is also reflected in her volunteer work with ARBIO PERÚ and the Loretano feminist collective “Furia Charapa.” She is recognized for her interdisciplinary approach to advancing legal solutions for environmental protection and Indigenous community support.
